The Dartmouth Learning Network would like to acknowledge the commitment, compassion and overall professionalism of our Volunteer of the Year, Diane McGuirk. Diane has been volunteering with DLN since 2008 and has worked with more than 15 learners during her time with us. She has helped learners prepare to write the GED, improve their reading, work on financial literacy and numeracy. She also has worked with small groups of learners to support the work they do in the classrooms and helped them move between levels at DLN and onto NSCC programs. This year Diane also assisted with larger group intakes, helping learners to complete registration and assisting staff with Learner Assessment. Thank you Diane!
