Connecting Business and Community in the Heart of Dartmouth North

The riding of Dartmouth North is home to the Burnside Business Park, the largest industrial park north of Boston and east of Montreal. Housing 1,400 businesses which employ more than 18,000 people, it is the ideal location for residents to find employment. To facilitate just that, a group of Dartmouth North community groups are coming together to host the Dartmouth Job Fair.

Free to everyone, the job fair offers job seekers the opportunity to speak directly with 'decision makers' from Burnside businesses who are hiring for full and part-time positions. Dress your best, bring your resumes and be ready to introduce yourself to local employers! We anticipate job seekers from all types of backgrounds with 0-7 years of experience to attend.

The Dartmouth Job Fair provides employers with an opportunity to connect directly with job seekers from their community. Your presence at the job fair helps you recruit quality employees and build relationships in the community.

There are 3 ways to participate:
1) have a booth
2) display a job posting
3) sign up for a Speed Interview booth.

Each employer at the job fair will be provided with a 6 ft. table, table linen, and two chairs. You may choose to display promotional or recruiting materials for your company or you can use your table to conduct initial interviews with job seekers.

A complimentary light brunch will also be available to you prior to the commencement of the job fair.

You will be expected to remain at your booth from 11 am – 2 pm.

There is no registration fee for employers to attend the job fair.

Lastly, door prizes for job seekers will be drawn for throughout the event. If you have an item that you wish to contribute as a door prize, please let us know in advance.
