Get a Tutor

Our Community Learning Program offers free one-to-one tutoring for adults that want to get their GED or improve their reading, writing, math or computer skills.

Within the Community Learning Program, you will be paired with a volunteer tutor to meet on a regular basis (usually weekly), to work on your personal learning goals. Whether you want to improve your literacy or get your GED, we can help. From time to time, depending on tutor availability, we can also support adults working towards other work-related learning goals (e.g., apprenticeship and trades, Canadian Forces Aptitude Test, etc.).

Individual programs usually run September through June and last for 1.5 – 2 hours per week at a public location that is convenient to both you and your volunteer tutor.
